A spiral wound design like water4gas and Myla Madson's uses is compared to a flat stock shim material design that is separated by zip ties. The difference in the amount of amperage drawn is pretty surprising. the spiral wound design uses about 5 amps. the flat stock shim stock design draws 10 amps. either one would be acceptable as far as not overloading a cars electrical charging system. There are stereo amplifiers that draw more than 10 amps. Lots of people like the idea of using the spiral wire because it tends to draw a lot less amperage than the flat pates. As long as adequate production of hho gas happens, all is well.There is a debate on how much hho is too much. Some people thing more is better, and others swear that it only takes a little bit in order to realize better gas mileage. Better gas mileage is the goal...lets face it. Its nice to think about shrinking your carbon footprint but when gas hits 4 bucks a gallon, you shift into survival mode and your carbon footprint is the least of your worries. Better gas mileage without harming your engine, thats the bottom line.
