What you are looking at is a trio of hho generators hooked up in series.

These hydrogen generators , also called hydrolyzers or hho conversion kits, are of the Water4Gas type design that uses stainless steel wire for the electrode material. I personally like this design except for the glass jars. They scare me a little bit. What I like is that you can see the action and that amperage draw is minimal.

There are a couple of things to notice about the design of these hho hydgrogen generators.

You need an air space in the top and so that space will not produce any hho hydrogen.

The bottom of the jar where the water and electrolyte produce the hho is almost always underutilized.

The wire should be coiled in such a way so that it is all the way on the bottom. I mean touching the bottom of the jar. the coil loop should be as wide as possible and the positive and negative wires should be closer together.

Not close enough that they could ever possibly touch and short out, but as close a 1/4" anyway. This will allow for more turns and allow much more surface area of electrode submerged in the solution.

Thats where the majic happens. In the water.

So why would you want all that wire never being under the water and why would you leave any gap at all in the bottom of the jar with no wire?

Another thing that I never understood is the plastic check valves that are recommended on some designs that are supposed to stop a flashback....please!

The idea is that if the engine backfires that a flash could ignite the hho gas in the top of the jar.

A flashback is definitely possible but a chincey little plastic check valve will not stop a flashback. They even sell flashback arrestors for oxyfuel torch kits because the manufacturers know that a simple check valve will not stop a flashback.

A bigger concern is the hho gas igniting in the air space because of a loose connection getting hot or even getting loose and sparking.

Make sure all connections are tight and that no copper connections are inside the jar.

At the bottom of this page , There is a YouTube video of one of these similar hho generators exploding because the guy in the video made the horrible decision to light the gas coming out of the tube without a bubbler to stop the flashback.

It really makes you consider using another material besides glass for the container. But glass is cheap and no one wants to invest a lot in the first hho generator they build as an experiment.

Just be careful.

Oh and by the way, I just installed one myself just almost like the ones in these videos. I dont have enough mileage on it yet to make any claims. But my Ford Ranger is sure running smooth.I will post the info on this site when I get it all figured out. Good or Bad.
