Nine 304 stainless steel plates are used for the cell in this hho hydrogen generator. It uses neutral plates in between positively and negatively charged plates. It is pretty compact and could fit in a jar or could be hooked up in a pvc or water filter canister container. The user indicates it pulls about 20 amps. That would probably increase with the temperature of the solution.Plans are to install in a Ford Escape.
Since it was in the testing phase no results of better gas mileage or fuel saving are claimed, but you can certainly see some decent hho production going on.
The solution used is just a little bit of baking soda and water to the tune of about 1 teaspoon per gallon.
Its important to note that he insulates the copper wire connection so that it wont corrode. Stainless steel holds up for a long time in the baking soda alkaline environment but copper will not last long.
