HHO Cell - How to make a Hydrogen Generator for Cheap
Cheap HHO Cell. How to make one with 4 dollars worth of stainless steel wall switch plates. WHat a deal?
This might be one of the cheapest ways to build a hho cell generator.
The stainless steel that is used to make switch covers like this is not the best grade of stainless you can get. But it is a good way to test out HHO and see if it improves your gas mileage. Other materials used for electrodes are twisted stainless steel wire that is coiled around a non conductive core, kitchen spatulas, and even a stainless steel vegetable steamer. click here to see the video on making an hho generator using a vegetable steamer.
For 4 dollars worth of stainless plates, its worth a try. Since there are 3 plates, there would be one connected to the positive wire, one to the negative, and one neutral, meaning that it is in between the positive and negative plates and is not connected to any wire...and its insulated from both other plates using nylon washers or other non conducting spacer.
As far as a container goes, pvc is the most common thing used for plate design hho generators. But if you do use pvc, then a clear sight tube is needed to be able to see the level of electrolyte solution.
